More duties for the Best Man
At the wedding reception or banquet, he is suppose to held on to the microphone and make wedding speeches that are witty and fun, not letting a moment of boredom during his speech. The Best Man will also made a toast to the wedding couple and the bridesmaids, he will have to call upon the parents to make a toast too. Even when he is not on stage, he have to make sure that everything in the kitchen and reception runs well.

When the wedding banquet is over, the best man will see the wedding couple to the car and off to their honeymoon. Before that, he already have checked the air tickets, luggage, passports, hotel reservations and maps. After everyone has left, the best man will have to settle the bills with the banquet manager as well as the wedding musicians, DJ or whoever needs to be paid.

So have the above description really scare any Best Man to-be off his socks? But with today’s non-formality approach to wedding as compared to the last century, it is a much easier task to handle. There is no need to help dress up the Bridegroom like those yesteryears,

his job will just be looking and reminding things the bridegroom may forget to wear on his suit.

The Best Man’s suit should be similar to the Bridegroom’s suit. Sometimes, the bridegroom may be too nervous that he even forgets to wear his socks or even tie his shoe laces. And also the best man got to remember the most important thing of the whole wedding event, that is the Wedding Ring. When all things are checked out, all he needs to do is work according to the schedule as planned. Timing is almost everything, as you wouldn’t want the bridegroom to be late at the registrar, or the bride waiting for the groom, that will be a disaster. So a well organized man will be a perfect candidate for this job and be sure that he is trustworthy.
