Choosing the right Best Man his role and duty
This person is probably the most ‘heard of’ character during the wedding. He is often chosen because he is the closest friend of the bridegroom and of course he is unmarried, but I have seen this part being compromise nowadays.

The Best Man must be a multi-tasker at all times. He has to be organized, witty, friendly and trustworthy. The Best Man’s duties are huge, he has to handle public responsibility of being a master of ceremonies to a heavy responsibility of being a treasurer. Nonetheless, he has to be a steady smooth operator, keeping the crowd in suspense in some moments yet controlled.

Some of the Best Man’s duties include becoming a wedding planner by keeping the time scheduled as appointed. He have to be time sensitive enough and walk through the wedding schedule with the Groom the day before the wedding. All transportations should be contacted and reminded of the time scheduled before the wedding day so that there won’t be any waiting and time wasting.

His duties may be heavier if he is held responsible for safeguarding the wedding rings, even so if the wedding rings cost a bomb! The Best Man need also be detailed enough to delegate and prepare the ushers on what their duties are, he may also need to brief the waiters and waitresses and work

together with the banquet manager on minor details of the wedding reception or banquet.

After the wedding service, the best man will accompany the Bride and the Bridegroom to the vestry with the Chief Bridesmaid. He may also act as a witness in the signing of the register. After the wedding ceremony, the best man will have to lead the Bride and Bridegroom to the door and be ready to allow the photographer to take some wedding photos. Then he will lead the wedding couple to the wedding car and prepare them the journey to the wedding reception. When the wedding couple is off to the wedding venue, the Best Man will prepare the vehicles for the bride and bridegroom’s parents as well as their friends and families. That's not the end of the best man's duties.
