Wedding engagement announcement
After the happy couple has decided to get engaged, it is time to announce it. Start spreading the news!

But how are you going to tell your world about the wonderful news? Go to the press….. and although the wedding engagement announcements through press has been much neglected nowadays, it still has it’s place. It is practical for a couple to announce their engagement through newspaper advertising columns if both have a huge circle of friends and families; it will be too costly or impractical to send out announcements individually.

If the couple is of certain status, let’s say he is a politician, rock star or maybe a prince, then he will need to announce their engagement on the newspaper with style and let the press knows about it. Soon the public will start noticing and reporters will come knocking on their door.

Well, to decide on which newspaper to advertise will largely depends on the geography of your friends and families. If they stay at different parts of the country, then a national newspaper will be more cost effective and practical way to go. If they are situated in mostly some parts of the country, then announcing your Engagement and your coming Wedding through the few local newspaper will be enough. If you are worried that you may not have the faintest ideal on how to place it rightly, here are a few examples that you can follow to place your wedding engagement announcement. You may notice that some are sent by the bride's father some are by the groom's father, it all really depends on who is paying for the wedding.
